We are Hans and Rose and we have a dream since a long time. To ride Chile by bike from north to south and documenting all around this travel. Recording soundscapes, people, animals, and after we will do a sound catalog with all this sounds.   

The idea, it’s to make an audio documentary or a sound « carnet de voyage ».

This beautiful travel consists on translating with sounds, Chile specific imaginary through its symbolic elements and hear them in another space.

For us, it’s important to live with the people there and to get the experience to meet them.

We plan to stay by Couchsurfing, Woofing, Warmshowers, family and friends.

 

Our main roles

 

Hans will be the principal mediator between our contacts and the soundtracker from our journey.

Rose will put a touch of fantasy and prose with her pen and her voice to enlighten the narrative part of this travel.

 

We will travel all around Chile avoiding to pass through the highway taking alternative paths to discover beautiful places. This travel begins in November 2016 and will finish in March 2017. We plan to do 3586 miles in 150 days. Around 30 to 50 miles per day.

For us, riding our bikes it’s first to feel free! We can keep in touch with nature, people and it’s good for health.

Our bikes are the better way to have no limits and to go where we want.

It’s perfect because we want to travel without creating any noise pollution for not disturbing the ecosystem.
